I listened to the road of reduction audio book by Tenacious D. And conveniently read by Tenacious D recounted the early stories, how they became a band both struggling actors, struggling musicians, and how that band entered stardom with a fantastic first album, and then an incredible belly flop of the movie. But how the band rallied and came back from the belly flop of a movie discovering and creating a second great album, rising to the height, and again restoring faith in the D. The movie still kind of a mess. They say it's become a cult classic. I've only seen it a few times, but long live the D. Always funny, always musically excellent and entertaining.
