read quickly and chosen at random from PKD books on my kindle. What starts at first as a way for overpopulated humanity to immigrate to another world becomes a lesson in parallel dimensions and evolution for humanity. Quick read, fun ideas. Interesting how such a small idea like a "crack in space" could occupy such a full novel. Also noteworthy for the controversy involving the election of an African American President. Much like our times.
