Quick read. We're fans of many of the same movies. A bit feminist in some of her criticism, but still an interesting read full of great 80s quotes and a handful of films I haven't seen that I'll have to check out. An interesting companion to Biskind's book about 70s cinema which was much more serious, but perhaps not as long lasting in influence.
