I listened to the Mel Brooks audio version of all about me by Mel Brooks, and although it took me far too long to finish it, I did love it because, of course, it is narrated by Mel Brooks himself. Mel Brooks's films are incredible, and he goes through each one after starting off with a story of his time in World War Two, which really set his character and his time growing up in Brooklyn, which really set his humor and his power. Mel Brooks is a consummate master of satire and humor, and it's shown throughout this book with short stories from each one of his films, people he enjoyed working with difficulties he had making the films and successes afterwards. Well worth reading a fantastic audio book, of course, performed by the incredible Mel Brooks. It was like spending time with him. Personally, nothing could have been better. I
