Co-founder of the World Crypto Network. Host of The Bitcoin Group since 2013. Co-creator of Curio Cards — the first art NFTs on Ethereum.
From April 2013 onward, Thomas Hunt has been all about Bitcoin — writing, producing, performing, and inspiring more than 1,200 shows of cryptocurrency news, education, and entertainment on YouTube.
As the creator of the Mad Bitcoins character and co-founder of the World Crypto Network, Hunt built one of the earliest and most enduring independent media platforms in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Based in San Francisco and later Barcelona, he brought a filmmaker's sensibility to crypto media — treating Bitcoin not just as technology or finance, but as culture, comedy, and history in the making.
From a single YouTube show in 2013, Hunt built the WCN into an independent media organization featuring multiple shows, dozens of hosts, and hundreds of episodes covering every major moment in Bitcoin's history.
In May 2017, Thomas Hunt co-created Curio Cards with Rhett Creighton and Travis Uhrig — 30 unique digital art cards deployed to Ethereum. Before CryptoPunks. Before CryptoKitties. Before the term "NFT" existed.
Card #17a sold for 999.99 ETH ($1.27 million) and the collection was featured at Christie's auction house in October 2021.

Before Bitcoin, Thomas Hunt was a filmmaker. The Thomas Hunt Films YouTube channel (est. 2012) hosts short films, music videos, and experimental work — 46 videos with over 9,000 subscribers. His filmmaker's eye shaped everything that came after: the visual style of Mad Bitcoins, the cinematic pacing of The Bitcoin Group, and a storytelling instinct that set WCN apart from typical crypto media.
