1n2 Weekly — the second half of a big idea

VMS kept building, at almost exactly the pace it set the week before.

A continuation week. The Virtual Model Service took roughly another fifty-seven hundred files across its two halves, which is within a rounding error of the previous week's rate — the signature of a generation job that has been set running properly and then left alone.

Lockstep

The notable structural fact is that the work split evenly. Where the previous week leaned heavily on one roster, this week the parent directory and the women's set moved almost in lockstep, which is what it looks like when a project stops being an experiment with one set of outputs and starts being a system with symmetrical parts.

Everything else held

The brain archive continued its steady six thousand files. Comics, Newszor and the daily THunt feed all filed their usual small numbers — the heartbeat of a dozen scheduled jobs doing exactly what they were told. Nothing broke. Nobody had to look at it.

Two consecutive weeks on one project is, by 1n2 standards, an unusual amount of monogamy. We take it as a sign the idea is load-bearing.
