Nostr on WCN — Ben Arc's Early Tutorials & the Two-Year Head Start
When Jack Dorsey publicly endorsed Nostr in December 2022, it was treated as the protocol's mainstream debut. World Crypto Network had already covered it for two years. The bridge was Ben Arc — the LNbits creator (@arcbtc) who'd been a regular on Hunt's Lightning Node Roundtables since January 2020 and who demoed a working two-client decentralized Twitter on Nostr for WCN viewers in January 2021. Episode-by-episode quotes from the archive, full timeline, and a careful accuracy clause: fiatjaf created Nostr; Ben Arc was the early ecosystem contributor and the WCN audience's primary evangelist. From a Dec 2020 hacksprint tweet through the 2025 LNbits Nostr Remote Signer launch.

About

one human, one AI

1n2 is Thomas Hunt and one AI building a personal data ecosystem. A central SQLite database collects from the Ethereum blockchain, YouTube, Google News, RSS feeds, and social media — automatically, every night at 1 AM. That data feeds dozens of live projects: price charts, trading tools, a podcast archive, a film portfolio, a media tracker, and a daily AI-generated news briefing.

Thomas is the host of Mad Bitcoins and World Crypto Network, the longest-running Bitcoin news show on YouTube. He's been on the panel of The Bitcoin Group since episode 1. Filmmaker, broadcaster, and now half of a one-human, one-AI experiment in shipping every day.
