Founded by Thomas Hunt, a history major turned AI power user, 1n2 represents a pragmatic approach to AI: learn by building, iterate quickly, and create tools that solve real problems. No buzzwords, no hype—just humans and AI getting things done.
Our philosophy is simple: AI agents are incredible assistants, but human judgment, creativity, and vision remain irreplaceable. The magic happens when both work together—1 human + 1 AI = 2x the potential.
Today's highlight: MediaLog was built entirely through AI-assisted development over 5 focused sessions totaling ~7.5 hours. From database design to deployment, every feature was created through human-AI collaboration—proving that powerful applications can be built quickly when the right tools work together.

🎯 Foundation & Data Integration
Built complete database structure with MySQL. Integrated Letterboxd (movies) and Goodreads (books) data sources. Created scraper system to populate 782 books and 50 movies with metadata including ratings, dates, reviews, and poster images.

Enhanced statistics pages with decade analysis, viewing patterns, and release year trends. Created advanced insights page with pace tracking (books/day, movies/day), streak detection, year-end projections, and monthly comparison charts.
🎨 Modern 3-Column Homepage
Redesigned homepage with purple gradient aesthetic, hero stats section, and three smart columns: "On This Day" (memories), Recent Activity, and Random Picks. Added visual gallery with poster grids. Implemented smart fallback logic and mobile responsive design.
🎬 Directors Page & Metadata
Created directors analytics page parallel to authors page. Built Letterboxd scraper to extract director names, genres, and runtime data. Implemented multi-director film support, poster grids, and year-watching statistics for 41 movies.
🏷️ MediaLog Rebrand & Polish
Rebranded from "Hunt HQ" to "MediaLog" across all 10 pages. Added year fallback logic (shows 2025 when 2026 is empty). Implemented zero-data protection and graceful degradation. Created comprehensive documentation and deployment guides.
